** We have brought back the Beretta Elite 2 Hammer and the Beretta Match Hammer in our trigger jobs in a bag for a limited time while we await our next batch of LTT Optimized Performance Hammers to arrive**

After several thousand trigger jobs on Beretta 92s and PX4s, Langdon Tactical Technology offers the "Trigger Job in a Bag." We polish and hand-stone all of the components that are part of the firing mechanism to smooth and lighten your trigger pull in DA/SA. The Trigger Job in a Bag is about 80% of what we do when we don't have the actual firearms. You can also do a full NP3 upgrade to your pistol that includes a "Trigger Job," with this kit. In August 2025, LTT switched over to a newly designed optimized performance hammer to optimize total trigger job performance in every way with improved sear notch geometry, reduced pre-travel distance, faster lock time, and better firing pin indent with lighter hammer springs. We believe this kit set-up gives you the best Trigger Job Performance and stand behind this hammer design, which has been over a year in development and manufacturing.

PLEASE NOTE:

This kit MAY require some fitting for proper install and function - please watch the install guide video on the "Videos" tab of this page prior to purchase - we recommend that this kit be installed by a competent gunsmith.

This kit is NOT compatible with the 92X Performance, 92XI, or the 92GTS; these pistols must be sent in for custom gun work.

Trigger job in a bag 92FS

Posted by Richard B on Dec 9th 2019

I purchased this in hopes of improving my DA trigger pull. The shipping was faster than I expected (2day). The video showing how to install this was excellent. I had no problems. I cleaned and dry lubed all the parts prior to installation which took more time than the actual install. The difference in the trigger is beyond my expectations. I shot 3 300's at 25 yds slow fire. The second and 3rd were whie using the DA first shot for each magazine. My groups at 15 yards have gone from 3-5" to 1.5-2" for slow fire. My DA triggrr pull is about the same weight as the old SA trigger pull weight. Reset is short and crisp as well. If your a Berretta shooter just get it worth more than they charge for it for certain

    Massive Improvement

Posted by Richard Carroll on Dec 6th 2019

I bought three Beretta 92 series handguns. All three had terrible triggers. I purchased three TJIBs. The double action and single action trigger press on each is now outstanding. I installed the TJIBs myself and had an issue with my installation. I called customer service and received the assistance I needed. Thank you for a great product and your your friendly assistance.

    TJIB

Absolutely amazing. I’m transitioning from striker fired handguns back to da/sa after watching Mr. Langdons videos and after watching Mickey at carry trainer and this kit is a must . Thank you

    92 series TJIB

I have an LTT 92 that was ordered with Ernest's trigger work and decided to order the kit with the optimized trigger bar to drop into my Wilson Centurion. I can't tell the difference in pull weight & smoothness which says alot for the value for these kits. While I wasn't unhappy with the Wilson trigger bar reset in the Centurion, the new LTT Optimized trigger bar was very noticeable upgrade in comparison.

    Trigger Job in Bag

Posted by Bruce Myers on Dec 2nd 2019

Fantastic, in my quest to return to metal guns with hammers. I needed to do something about my 92 compacts rough trigger. The trigger job in a bag was perfect easy install, though trigger return spring and my fat fingers did have a brief anxious moment. The final result is a very smooth DA and appropriate SA trigger. If you like the 92 this is a fantastic upgrade I went with the 13 pound hammer spring, in my mind about the best compromise.

Beretta trigger job in a bag

Posted by Adam on Nov 27th 2019

This was well worth every penny and highly recommended for anyone wanting to make their Beretta feel like a completely different sidearm. I had no experience disassembling a Beretta M9/92 and this took me about 30-40 minutes after watching Ernest Langdon's video. I went with the Langdon trigger bar and a 12# hammer spring in my kit and I had no light strikes in 500+ rounds with the majority being S+B which is known for harder primers than U.S. ammo. I ended up with about 6.5# DA and about 3.5# SA and the reset is very short I would say even a tiny bit shorter than my Sig Legion P226. Buy this without hesitation this is the simplest project to install that yields amazing results. For reference my installation was done on a 92X Full Size that came with D spring from factory.

Trigger Job In A Bag with 14# Mainspring & optimized trigger bar

Posted by Christopher D. on Nov 15th 2019

I installed this in a NP3ed 92G Centurion. The video directions were excellent, the results in the pistol were incredible, with about a 6# DA pull, and a really short reset. I went with a 14# hammer spring in an effort to get better ignition when I have a .22 practice kit fitted. A 12# hammer spring has given me 100% ignition with 9mm.

    TJIAB NP3

Posted by Alex Chung on Nov 11th 2019

100% satisfied! Installed in about 15min following the youtube video instructions. Dropped right in and now I have a smooth DA pull and a SA that goes off when I "think" about pulling the trigger. Smooth. Its my first Elite LTT with a TJIAB so I am not sure how much the NP3 helps. I assumed LTT offers it b/c it makes a difference. Will be ordering another soon for my M9A1.
